Hi Mariem22,

I'd like to try and help you out. Have you tried doing a repair on the email program? If not, plese follow these steps:

  1. Go to Control Panel.
  2. Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
  3. Locate Windows Live Essential 2011, and then click Uninstall/Change.
  4. When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
  5. Restart your computer after the repair.

Alternatively, you may download the latest version of the Windows Live Mail and reconfigure the account. If the issue persists, please let us know.

Thanks.

Hi,

Are you referring to new emails? If new emails are received you will be prompted by the system to sign in so they could refresh the connection.

If you are using your Windows Live Mail you can always access your old emails imported to it even if you are offline.

Thanks!

Thanks but it's not what I mean. When I open Windows Live Mail and go to look at an Email, I get an error message to the effect that 'there has been a problem. please try again' or similar words to that. To 'try again' I have to close Windows Live Mail and reopen. Once I do that it's fine. I simply find it very annoying and time wasting to go through that procedure and don't know how to fix it.
