What's a better/faster way to parse JSON data in wordpress template pages? Javascript/jQuery or PHP? [on hold]

I want to parse the JSON data in to my wordpress pages, by using templates. My JSON data is a multidimensional array. I know how to retrieve the data and retrieve into HTML but what would be the best tool to use for faster results?
